Meal, Ready-To-Eat

While mainly used as rations for the US Armed Forces they are also infamous as subjects of food reviews. Growing up on YouTube I watched these reviews and that’s what made me question myself , How could one small package contain a full course meal? People tuned in to see which obscenely complicated things could be simplified into one succinct meal. Shock and awe as utensils start to emerge, sauces to compliment the food, sometimes even hot meals without the use of a single flame.




The obscenity inspired me to create my own MRE. To find the limit of what comforts can be crammed into this wartime bento I sought out the limit of comfort. 16 different menus, comprised of the rarest ingredients in the world, enough to go to war over.
