Maratus Volans

Flying Peacock Spiders! Natives of Australia, they come equipped with a high level of visual acuity that allows them to perceive the full visual spectrum, even ultraviolet. The males of the species flaunt their colorful abdomens as a means of attracting females, and I’m hoping to make use of these genetically crafted eye-catchers to ensnare the eyes of the uninitiated.
